A while ago, Square Enix announced a collector’s edition for Hitman Absolution that was a little underwhelming – containing little more than an art book and some DLC. If you’ve already ordered that one – you might want to cancel and get the newly announced Hitman: Absolution Deluxe Professional Edition instead.
The new Deluxe collector’s edition comes with a 10″ Agent 47 vinyl Munny statue, a hard-cover art book, a making of DVD and the Agency Gun Pack DLC. the gun pack will grant you access to the Agency Jagd P22G pistol, the Agency HX UMP SMG and the Agency SPS 12 semi-automatic shotgun in-game. Like other pre-orders, it’ll also give you immediate access to the rather excellent Hitman: Absolution Sniper challenge DLC pre-order incentive – a standalone minigame that nests you across from a building filled with squishy targets. I rather enjoyed it.
What do you think of the statue? Is it too cute a thing for such a serious game? Or do you already have too many realistic game figurines as it is?
Hitman: Absolution will silently assassinate your free time on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on November 20.
