Last night the Protea Battlefield 3 team went head-to-head with Russia in the Nations Cup and managed to win a map with pings 20 – 30 times higher than the Russians.
Unfortunately we lost the game due to a ticket difference, meaning that even though both the teams won a map respectively, Russia won better. Team Russia won the first map 455 – 0 tickets and Team South Africa 157 – 72. If you add both maps’ tickets together, Russia wins 527 – 157. This was anything but a clean defeat. Team Russia played with a ping of 3 to 69 at most, where as Team South Africa played at 212 to 267 according to the end game screenshots.
Map 1 Scores: Russia wins
Map 2 Scores: South Africa wins
Team South Africa’s next match will take place on Sunday, 17 February at 21:00 against Spain, playing on maps Operation Firestorm and Operation Metro.

I’ve long held that South African games are the best in the world-by far, if we were given the opportunity to play on the 15-50ms latency range, we would be entirely unstoppable- and this is in more than just FPS.

Some of u must be blind…they played on the Russian and SA servers where the ping was favorable to both teams…it was fair play…tactics would of decided the game, it’s as simple as that
