Saints Row is known for being insanely outrageous. You only have to look at how different Saints Row IV is from the series’ gangster roots. It’s been for the better, but that doesn’t mean it can’t get crazier.
Saints Row IV took place in an alien computer program, giving you access to some pretty insane abilities as The President. But that’s not who you’re going to be playing as in the new stand-alone expansion. Instead, you’re taking over as Gat, and storming the gates of Hell.
As you’d expect, Hell is a twisted version of Saints Row’s already weird version of reality. Strip clubs, bars and HOLY HELL DEMONS! There’s also the small detail regarding the fact that Gat is literally up against the Devil this time around, which certainly takes Saints Row into a whole new area of bizarre.
As you’d expect, you’ll be armed to the teeth to take on the hoards of hell. There’s some big ass monster trucks, lazy armchairs with mini guns attached and a good old fashioned pair of knives for Gat to get his hands dirty with. I’m pretty sure there are going to be far more insane, offensive weapons, that will probably be teased before the expansion launches.
That’s not too far away either, with Gat Goes To Hell slated to launch on January 27th for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Better yet, if you’re planning on picking up the next-gen versions, you an pick up the remastered Saints Row IV: Re-Elected and Gat Out Of Hell in one bundle.

I sure hope so.
SR:IV had a little to much wubwub for me (even with the metal dubstep gun).

Saw this over the weekend… Also I am not buying any PS3 games anymore, it would seem all of them will be coming to the PS4 in a shinier skin!!
Like the new site, looks fresh!!

Always find that funny when they have a trailer of a game that will definitely be 18+ and the trailer is open to everyone because not rated yet!! Logic be gone, this is 2014 we don’t need you anymore!!

Same crappy engine, same game-play from SR 3. Nothing has been updated.

Agree with you but gameplay carries a lot of weight in this case. Why?
Because how often do you get to shoot Lucifer? In the face!?

What the hell happened to the real gangster side of the saint its like turning into a big bullshit game i mean really hell are you fucking serious the saints was a big game for me niw its turning into a big joke i mean every sence the first saints row game has been made i have been over excited for new release of the saints and i was in love with the gangster aspect of the game that one area made it stand out against GTA and i know a gamer souldnt compare the saints to GTA but from saints row all the way to saints row 3 the saints had seem to be progressing even in the ending parts which saints row 1and 2 could have ended better but the real endings showed tremendous progress in 3 which brings me to my point where in its clear to see the terrible transition between real and serious to bullshit in fantasy saint row would have been better to just send “the president” back in the past to stop the alien envasion and really see how he saints truly started instead of sending get to helland turning the same into a fantasy joke game
P.S. BRING BACK THE REAL SAINTS ROW
