Remember when Darryn told you about the new Borderlands 2 DLC and how he was expecting a new season pass? Well, he was wrong! While the current season pass finishes at the Tiny Tina DLC, the rest will have to be purchased ala carte.
The developers explained:
“Through the course of our grand experiment, we’ve also learned that fans are happy with an a la carte menu for DLC because they can pick and choose the content that they most want to buy and really customize their Borderlands 2 experience. They’re voting with their wallets — and we are grateful that there are enough of them asking that we can justify the cost of developing the content.”
What do you think? Is Borderlands 2 becoming the next Sims with millions of DLCs, or are you still enjoying each and every one? I have such mixed feelings about DLCs. Sometimes they’re cool, especially when you get codes in a collector’s edition or something. But at the same time, I’d rather just see the content in the original game, or a sequel – patching to add extra content is awesome, but just don’t expect me to pay for it.

Zoe wins header of the week! I have no problem with the DLC we are getting for Borderlands2. Heart goes into all (except you Pirate Bounty) and they are not forcing us. Loving Tiny Tina’s DLC! Have an awesome weekend Zoe!Make it a Le Sighless one;)

There better be more content coming form Borderlands…that way I won’t have to grind through the same stages just to level my Siren up.

All of Borderlands DLC’s have been great. All of them. I will gladly pay 15$ each.
