If there’s one great thing about Hitman Absolution, it’s that levels are designed to be replayed and explored. It’s a sandbox of strangulation and “accidental” deaths, but not all of them are obvious. Today, we’re taking a look at five such levels, and how you can get the most out of them.
A personal contract
Alright, let’s start with the prologue then! I’m going to skip ahead here past the tutorial, until we’re in the actual house were Diana Burnwood is hiding. When you’re in the mansion, your primary objective is to get your gloved hands on the keycard so that you can access a room in the second floor where Burnwood is. There are two ways to do this:
Method 1
At the top of the stairs, a guard stands watch over the balcony.
Sneak into the bathroom, and wait for him to enter.
Subdue/Kill him silently, and dump his body into a laundry hamper, and you can then head back to the balcony.
When you’re at the balcony, hit the switch which will open the blinds in the main entertainment area. A guard will be sent up to investigate what’s going on.
Eliminate him, and you’ll get the keycard to go into the next room.
Method 2
In the upstairs bathroom, you’ll find some sleeping pills.
Go back downstairs, and into the kitchen.
A guard is talking to the chef, wait for him to finish getting chastised by the master cook.
On the counter, is a cup of coffee. Dope that beverage with the pills.
At this point, the head guard will appear, drink some coffee, and pass out.
You can grab his keycard, and go upstairs to complete the mission.
