Even though it gives everybody a chance to wield a Titan during a game, Titanfall can still throw the less talented gamers out there (Like me) into a match with people who live, breathe and eat the game. Doctors do not recommend doing that by the way. From today though, expect Titanfall to be a tad bit more balanced.
Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment has released a new update on PC and Xbox One for the game, that will tinker with the match-making system in order to match up players of about equal skill level. So in other words, I’m being thrown into a lobby of players who somehow manage to set water on fire when they’re in the kitchen.
The update applies to the Hardpoint and Attrition modes so far, with matchmaking now prioritising skill over net speed. Regarding the update, Respawn said via CVG that “This will give us more time to build better teams and create closer games that are worth staying in for a longer period of time.”
So this should prevent certain teams from completely owning match after match. “This means if one team is dominating, we will update the skill for all of the players and then find each team a better suited match for the next round,” Respawn added.
This should end some of the frustration with playing for extended periods when you’re having an off night.
The Xbox 360 version of the game finally launches next week. Unless you live in South Africa. Bugger.

I was so excited about this movie, but missed it in theatres. Then I downloaded a copy of it. Then I watched it. Then I went out and bought it on Blu-Ray. Then I watched it again.
Sir, it is that good…

Is anyone having problems with infinite loops when connecting to a server. Sometimes I get in and other times I don’t. Its mildly frustrating, the game is amazing but the the lottery I have to enter to get into the game kind of detracts from it.
