The return of the Master Chief was done with style this year, as the license to print money franchise for Microsoft ushered in a new age for that veteran brand. Quintessentially the same game, but bigger, more focused and with drop dead gorgeous visuals, Halo 4 was probably the final such game in that series to be aimed at the Xbox 360, but at least it’s leaving that console with a bang and not a whimper.
Fast, furious and packed with content for the online crowd, it was damn good to once again see the return of the Master Chief.
