Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the ultimate success story. Starting as a horrible game, they completely relaunched it as Realm Reborn and it has received nothing but praise from critics and communities. It’s currently available on PC, PS3 and PS4, but that might be expanding soon.
During a livestream from the Tokaigi Japan Game Party, Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida appeared to tease an upcoming Xbox One port of the game by holding up an Xbox One controller. While of the course the controller is compatible with the PC version of the game, it was never used during the demonstration. Additionally, Yoshida-san has previously explained that while Square Enix was ready to work on an Xbox One version of the game, it would only do so once Microsoft allowed cross-platform gameplay. He even went so far as mentioning the possibility of having servers with only Windows and Xbox One gamers. With Microsoft recently announcing cross-platform play, perhaps this is the sign that we will soon hear about FF XIV’s Xbox One release.
I really enjoyed Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. In fact, I enjoyed it way more than I was expecting to. It’s fun and cute and feels more like what people expect from a Final Fantasy game than other numbered titles have. I haven’t gotten a subscription, mainly because I know other games often come up and I won’t be able to get the full value of my game time. However, plenty of people are obviously dishing out for it each month – it hasn’t switched to free-to-play and still seems to be adding content and expanding the experience. Seems that the MMOJRPG model has worked for them.

Considering FFXI will have been out for 15 years this May, and still maintains the same subscription fee, I’m going to say that the likeliness of you still having the same contact information will be slim to none.

FTR, in this case, you would use ‘its’ as opposed to ‘it’s.’ It’s is a contraction (it and is), whereas its is possessive. I normally overlook such mistakes, but not from someone representing a website. 😉
