You’re going to die horribly in the Aliens: Colonial Marines Survivor multiplayer mode

Game over man, game over! I ran out of tokens!

With 2012 almost done, it’s time to ignore the Mayans and get ready for anew year of gaming. There’s some great new titles on the horizon, with Aliens Colonial Marines looking real good. I’m already stocking up on adult diapers for the Gearbox title, something that will no doubt come in handy for the games take on multiplayer wave-based do-not-die combat, Survivor. See for yourself after the jump.

Seriously, it would have been stupid not to include some form of horde mode in this specific game. After all, the films in which these future soldiers appeared in were basically already filmed versions of such gameplay.

Of course, the question in Survivor, is how long will you actually survive? I’m not positive on my chances for this, and Geoff is already practicing his “Game over man, game over!” speech for the grisly end that awaits us.

Aliens: Colonial Marines is out next year February on PC, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360. Ping…ping…ping..pingpingpingping!
