It’s arrived and has now been downloaded by millions of people all over the world and the servers have stood up to the initial strain and everything has kept on ticking over which must make the Engineers in Redmond ecstatic.
However it’s not all perfect and along with some freezing issues a new nemesis has raised it’s ugly head.
Error Status Code 80072ee2 is possibly going to be our new most hated thing, right now when I try and browse any content in the Arcade or Marketplace I get that error code.
Basically it seems to mean that your Xbox isn’t getting an answer back from the servers in time, this could be due to excess stress on the server, a bad connection or any number of other issues.
The only solution is to wait a while and try again… lets hope they fix that soon enough.
Another nice error I am getting is Status Code: 80000ffff when trying to browse for a nice new Viva Pinata theme. I can’t find any information about this error at all though, which makes me worry just a little.
I also noticed that browsing the Marketplace was rather slow and it almost seemed to crash at one stage.Love the install feature though,it’s so quiet playing games now
There is another way using a magnet, but if you don’t know what you’re doing it might end up worse.
Keep your fingers between the magnet and screen. Now keep rubbing over the distorted area, not too fast. Never keep your hand still. After a minute or so it will come right. I fixed numerous TV’s and monitors this way. But be warned: You can make it worse if you’re not carefull.

Mine overheated and am waiting for the SA’s ‘new procedure’ to swap it out… taking so long – but am excited to upgrade the new new NXE – all i really want (and doubt it’s there) is volume control for videos!? erm, and maybe for the xbox’s universal remote volume to actually change the volume of sound coming out of the xbox!?
Bought resident evil 5 on games on demand and I have had this status code pop up over the last 3 days of trying to dl it. I have also noticed CoD MWF2 no one is on 50ms it has to go to 80ms just for me to find a game.
I don’t think it will be ground breaking, but it will still be Duke. Maybe...

I get that sometimes on my TV. Degauss the screen and it should come right. Different TV’s have different degaussing methods.

It’s like a reset procedure to reset the colours on
the screen. Check your manual on how to or phone the

Magnetism is what causes the problem. You actually need a degaussing wand which a TV tech will have, although some TV’s have one built in. (Mine does)

The NXE feels so sluggish campared to the blades. It looks better than the blades, but it looks like a Wii360, kinda gay.
Don’t know if I actually prefer it over the blades yet…
