Bethesda has been showing off Skyrim over at PAX in Seattle and obviously, as to be expected, the footage has been captured as shaky cellphone footage and is now available on the Internet for all to see.
Generally these video’s don’t get taken down as they were demoing the game in public anyway but for us poor souls on the bottom of the planet this may be as close to a public screening as we get before the games release.

In other Skyrim news, Todd Howard who is the director of Skyrim has told GamerXperience that they rewrote a large portion of the Xbox 360 version of the game to ensure they are using the console to it’s limit
We’ve pretty much rewritten all the graphics and the gameplay system, as well as used a new face system and interface system
And we knew coming off of Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360, that there was a lot we could still do to really harness the power of it. There is just this unlimited amount of detail we put into the world, from little things like forks and berries to mountains and dragons.
Which begs the question, was porting to the PS3 from the PC actually easier than PC to Xbox 360? Which would go against everything we’ve been told before.
