I mean you could, literally, never die.
Yes, Warrior Within & The Two Throne was more combat focused than it's predecessor, but it still had a great platforming system. And I loved how they combined platforming with fighting.
In this latest one, it was run around on walls, fall off, get rescued, run around some more. Stop. Cutscene. Face boss (who you've faced a million times before) one on one in uninspired combat. Beat him. Rinse and repeat.

Oh without a doubt, Sands of Time was by far the best in the series, but the platforming and puzzles in this latest one was dumbed down to the point of insulting. Warrior Withing & Two Thrones was based to much on fighting and actually lost the PoP-ness that made Sands of Time and the original such cool games.

I actually enjoyed the previous one more than any of the Sands of Time series (bar the 1st one).

With the previous one they actually went back to what PoP was all about way back in the beginning with the platform games (and also in the 1st of Sands of Time games).

It was more about running gauntlets, figuring out puzzles than actual fighting. I'm a huge PoP fan, but the last game, as pretty as it was, was just a huge disappointment to me. Far too easy and far too repetitive. I understand that they were trying to branch out to a new audience, and thus wanted to make it as accessible as possible, but seriously, that game had like a learning straight-line instead of a curve.

I think its awesome.
