Battlefield 4’s been let out of the bag – but that doesn’t mean EA’s not still supporting Battlefield 3. The next expansion for the game, “Armoured Kill” is coming in September; giving shooter fans a taste of vehicular fellatio (Darryn says it tastes awful) vehicular mayhem.

The DLC adds five new vehicles "including mobile artillery, tanks, ATVs," along with a few vehicle specific perks and unlocks. In this trailer, you can see the  "Alborz Mountain" map and "Bandar Desert,”’’ a say is  “the largest map in Battlefield history." The DLC also adds a new game mode, “Tank Superiority” which sees heavy vehicles (tanks, presumably) battling for map control.

The 800 000 of you who’ve bought in to Battlefield Premium will be getting the expansion two weeks earlier than everybody else. there are at least two more expansions planned, Battlefield 3: Aftermath coming this December and Battlefield 3: End Game coming in March of 2013.

I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
