Much like Gavin, I too have a bit of a hard spot for specialised gaming controllers. While it may not be as bad as my love for stationary (Oh yeah, work those gel ink pens!), I’m still a complete sucker when it comes to forking out cash for one of them. And I like the look of this controller that’s aimed at the Tomb Raider crowd. Like, this much. No maybe this much!

While the upcoming Tomb Raider is going to be a more serious affair with oodles of reboot violence, the controller that is being released to coincide with the game is going to feature a heckuva lot more red.

It’s got a two layer colour scheme, laser-etched faux distressing and what appears to be some bandaging on the left hand horn. Who hurt you sexy Tomb Raider controller? Was it the Wii U Gamepad?

It’ll retail in the US, but if you can find someone to snatch it up for you, expect to pay $60 (R520) for it. And for that price, you’ll snap up some multiplayer DLC for the game.

And because I feel like adding some meat to this piece, here’s four other controllers that I wish that I could get my sweaty palms around.

The Tron: Legacy controller

The Steampunk controller

The Halo 4 controller brought to you by Doritos

The Afterglow controller

I actually own one of these. And yes, MY EYES!
