If there is one thing the team here at Lazygamer knows nothing about it’s sports, in our voting document for the awards these are the votes collated by this wonderous team…

So with a resounding 2 votes, our sports title of the year goes to…

FIFA 13 from EA Sports

While it may not be a huge improvement over FIFA 12 the incredibly amount of detail and depth in FIFA 13 see’s it standing head and shoulders above any other sporting title released this year.

Unfortunately it also shows how stale the sporting genre currently is in video games and hopefully next year it can really be shaken up by a new contender. How about a football game where you are allowed to kill the opponents using Mortal Kombat styled attacks?
