If you’ve not been able to find a multiplayer game you enjoy this year, then you’ve got a serious problem – and should probably stick to solo gaming. Whether you like first person shooters, racing games, platformers or action adventures, there’s a multiplayer game for you in 2011.

Even those of us who don’t like combat shooters (hands up!) had to give it to Battlefield 3 this year; The game’s squad tactics and vehicles just can’t be beat by anything else this year for fun factor – especially when you factor in the PC version’s 64 player modes.
