In just over two weeks, we say goodbye to the world. No, it’s not another forecast of an impending apocalypse or an asteroid headed to earth that the government doens’t want you to know about, but the fact that Skyrim releases on the 11th.

The game is looking incredible so far, with a wide open world that is just begging players to explore every inch of its high-textured glory, but of course, such beauty comes at a certain price.

For those of you looking to play Skyrim on the lowest graphical settings possible, Bethesda has published the following Minimum requirements:

  • 2GB System RAM
  • 6GB free HDD Space
  • Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512 MB of RAM
  • DirectX compatible sound card
  • Internet access for Steam activation

Those of you with a bit more cash to spend on upgrading, can expect the following requirements in order to start dragon-slaying:

  • Processor: Quad-core Intel or AMD CPU
  • 4GB System RAM
