I know it’s not good news for local on Xbox 360 but I am honestly glad that Sega is finally taking a stand against the archaic censorship in Germany and maybe Australia as well.

Sega have decided that it’s not even worth attempting to release their upcoming Aliens vs Predator in Germany due to the high levels of violence and the subsequent cost of cleansing the game for the innocent Germans.

Which does then mean that any Xbox DLC that may come along will be blocked locally but if more companies started to do this then maybe the Germans will rise up again, just this time against themselves, and sort their censorship board out.

According to the source Sega will still submit it to the Ozzie board as they don’t need to translate the language before doing so and therefore can’t really lose out.
