With all the Skyrim bashing going on at the moment it’s the perfect time for a new hero based RPG styled game to come out and steal the thunder.

And look what just got released today, it’s the Reckoning’s launch trailer and doesn’t it look awesome.

Personally I love the part where the guy simply goes splat, I’m not a RPG fan but I really want to fight that beast in the game..

Though I’m not sold on their catch phrase of “a kingdom like no other”, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen kingdoms like that before in games?

    So hot for this… :D The demo showed promise. It also had this strange MMO feel to it, but what I absolutely loved was the art direction. Proof will be in the pudding though, and after a year of shitty, creatively bankrupt and shallow RPGs (except for Two Worlds 2. Thank the gods for this game), I can’t help but be sceptical.  I just hope this game delivers, because I still need to get the foul taste of Bioware out of my mouth. 

    Not to mention, Skyrim (that bug-filled POS) and Bethesda can go to hell!

      Kinda glad I never picked up Skyrim….. It would have gotten in the way of This Game !!

      And since when does Two Worlds 2 not have any bugs?It has a lot more bugs than Skyrim, and the KOA demo isn’t exactly bug-free either…I’ve had it crash on me three times in a single sitting.

    I like Skyrim.There, I said it.

    Love the game. While the bugs are crappy, the rocket launching giants still make me laugh every time. Let be honest here, YOU HAVE played worse. I would gladly play Skyrim for the rest of my life then play Dragon Age 2 for another hour. Bioware did stuff up there BIG TIME.

    Cant wait to play KOA to see how it compares.

    Oh and James………while Bioware did make DA2, they also made DA1, which was brilliant. and Mass Effect. Dont be hatin my favourite series yo!

      Stuff DA1, that was just a decent game. They made Baldur’s Gate! My favourite series (with HL) of all time! I skipped DA2, didn’t want to tarnish my view of them.
