PES 2009 vs FIFA 2009

Konami has announced that there will be a PES 2009 demo hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace this morning as well as on the PSN Store and for PC’s.

The demo will mainly be a 5 minute exhibition match where you and a friend (yes multi-player is included) can choose between Liverpool, Real Madrid, Barcelona, the Italian and French national sides and some other dodgy English team*.

EA has already released its FIFA 2009 demo to mixed but generally good reviews and it will be interesting to see how PES matches up to that. has it done enough in the graphics and online departments to counter FIFA’s improved gameplay?
