Yet. When GTA V was hit with a six month delay, the most immediate thought was that it was being put on the back-burner to allow for development of other SKU’s; notably for the PC, Wii U and even next-gen systems. Rockstar has now crushed those dreams for the time being, saying that it has nothing new to share.
According to a tweet by Gamespot, the delay has nothing to do with the rumoured PC or Wii U versions of what’s probably the most anticipated game release for 2013.
Rockstar says “nothing new” to share about Grand Theft Auto V for Wii U or PC.

Instead, the delay is purely to polish the game up, with Rockstar intent on delivering the very best game it can – to the PS3 and Xbox 360. Rockstar took to its blog comments to clarify, and quash the conspiracy theories that currently abound.
“To those of you saying or seeing various conspiracy theories about there being some other ulterior motive for this delay, rest assured that they’re all nonsense – literally the only reason we’ve delayed the release is because we want the game to be as good as it needs to be.”
While that might be straight from the horse’s mouth, I have no doubt that we’ll be seeing GTA V on the PC at some point – just probably not when the game launches in September.
