You may remember yesterday that we posted up a story about Activision going after the heart of the cheaters by demanding that the websites that host the software be transferred over to them along with all the money received and a list of everyone who paid for it?

Well it seems like the threat has worked and the cheaters have thrown in the towel in record time.

Charlie, an eagle eyed visitor has spotted something different about the cheaters website since the story went live.

If only this could truly be the end of cheating but we all know that some other scumbag is now going to take this guys place and the circle of hate continues.

The best we can hope for is that the next bunch are a little more wary of the consequences and we don’t have to live with such brazen cheating.

    Shame, i was a keen user but i never did anything illegal!

    I just used it for pure education, i learned the basics of hex editing through that site.

    And it wasnt real contact from activision anyway, it was Gambhino(cheater) deciding he had enough but didnt want to refund anyones monies!

    And for the record i have seen a live conversation with JD2020 offering future game modes that allow ‘modding’ so that it doesnt affect other legitimate players. I agree with this move 100%, Its either work with em or work against them and have them in live ranked matches everytime another exploit is found!

    Just because someone cheats on a game DOESNT make them a Scumbag… I CHEAT on Singleplayer and Private matches… I Do it for FUN, I dont do it publicly… I never achievement hack/mod etc… I Just enjoy the game with some mods you know…

    Yes, it does make your a scumbag, unless you are doing it only with your friends (who are also doing it) or in in singleplayer, which it seems you do. Otherwise you are in fact a douche bag, even in private matches when other people don’t have cheats and are just trying to have some fun and have to deal with some idiot flying around the map thinking that he is special

    I Hate to break this to you but there is no way to control whether someone is cheating in a private match or in public matches so they have to block both.

    I did find it amusing though that you chose to argue freedom to choose and yet then said we should go protest abortion, which is a women (or couples) freedom to choose…

    I do so love society
