New is new, Refurb is 2nd hand. The pre-Falcon architecture does not have HDMI neither can you simply take an old motherboard and just add an HDMI port on it. You need to re-engineer the gates and the soldering has to be done via machine in order to use the HDMI port. Then you have to put on a new cover at the back.Another point that was missed was that there is no mention of the heatsinks. The launch consoles had tiny heatsinks whereas the Falcon consoles come with a huge heatsink.
