Bioware’s gone and released the full voice cast for Mass Effect 3, their up-coming, highly anticipated shooty RPG and it’s a pretty amazing cast, filled with Hollywood talent – though admittedly a tad familiar. There’s a lot of role reprisal, but that’s not a bad thing – especially with Yvonne Strahovski bringing Miranda to life again. Also, more David Keith is always a good thing.
Here’s the cast :
- Mark Meer – Male Shepherd
- Jennifer Hale – Female Shepherd
- Martin Sheen – The Illusive Man
- Freddie Prinze, Jr. – James Vega
- Seth Green – Joker
- Tricia Helfer – EDI
- Yvonne Strahovski – Miranda
- Carrie-Anne Moss – Aria T’Loak
- Ali Hillis – Liara
- Keith David – Captain Anderson
- Lance Henriksen – Steven Hackett
- Jessica Chobot – Diana Allers
“We are absolutely thrilled with the passion and emotion the entire cast brought to their performances in Mass Effect 3,” said executive producer Casey Hudson. “In a story where Earth and the entire galaxy are at war, we needed to take the performances to a level of dramatic power and intensity that we’ve never previously attempted. This extremely talented cast delivered.
The curious addition to the cast – other than the decidedly dopey Freddie Prinze Jr – is IGN staff writer and video host Jessica Chobot – yes, the PSP-licking lady, though she has done a fair bit of radio, TV and voice-over work since gaining exposure from that. Anybody got a handheld I could lick? Wait..don’t answer that…
Mass Effect 3 hits consoles and PC on March 6 in the US, and March 9 in the rest of the world.
