Here’s how COD Advanced Warfare’s scorestreaks work

I am rubbish at Call of Duty. So rubbish in fact, that I can’t tell you the last time I got a score streak that earned me anything more than a slap in the face.   I’m not one of those guys who regularly call in choppers, nukes, UAV’s and packs of rabid dogs. Here’s a new video showing how Call of Duty Advanced Warfare’s highly customisable multiplayer scorestreaks will work. Basically, It’s a video showing a bunch of digital toys I’ll never get to play with.

“In this episode of Advanced Training, Michael Condrey, Co-Founder of Sledgehammer Games, takes you through Scorestreaks in Advanced Warfare Multiplayer. Integrating Scorestreaks into the Pick 13 system and the addition of Scorestreak customization provide a wide range of ways to play multiplayer and open up new tactics like never before.”

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming on 4 November, and is set to shake up the Call of Duty formula a little. With its three year development cycle, it’s been afforded the sort of polish and care that we don’t usually see with the annualised series.

“I think that was really what that extra year gave us, the chance to break a few things,” Sledgehammer’s Michael Condrey  said. “To maybe alienate a few ideas to bring Sledgehammer’s take to Call of Duty. And maybe push boundaries further than people were comfortable and then pull it back if we went too far.”

One of those new things is the exosuit, which adds a level of verticality we’ve not seen in the series.

“It feels like Call of Duty and everything about that gun-on-gun action that you know and love; and high production values of campaign,” he said. “But, you’ve never played Call of Duty this way before.”

It would be really cool if there was a scorestreak perk that allowed you to summon a giant mech that could fall from the sky though. Never seen a game do anything like that.

LOL. One good thing about this game is this, all the 12 year olds will be off of destiny and back to COD

It would have to measure mental age instead of physical age, otherwise you’d still get poozers.
