Today is the day that many of us – in the form of commander Shepard – will forget about life in general, and begin our quests to save the galaxy from impending doom. Fans of the series and its canon will be thrilled by the fact that the first of Dark Horse’s Mass Effect digital comics will be given away free to iPhone users.
On February 3, you’ll be able to download the first issue from iTunes- normally priced at the ridiculous sum of..err.$0.99 for absolutely nothing. this is the same comic you’ll get with your Collector’s Editions of Mass effect 2, albeit in digital form.
Still, free is free. It’ll likely not appear on the ZA Store, so like most of the digital shopfronts it may be of interest to go about registering a faux US account. If you like what you see on the US iTunes store here’s a public service announcement. Our friends at Evogames are now stocking iTunes points cards.
Many of you have already been playing Mass Effect 2 since this morning – and I hate every single one of you.

I’m staring at the empty space that once inhabited the other love in my life, and the thought of not have a Shepard session this evening is actually bringing a tear to my eye. :cwy:

Imported my level 38 avatar from ME 1 and played over 21 hours over the weekend (wife was not happy with me at all).
Awesome story so far and game running stable (PC version) but there is some clipping problems that occurred on some maps (running through walls & ending up in weird places on the map)that required some reloads.
RPG elements a bit toned down from ME 1 but still very enjoyable!

Agreed i encountered like 2 bugs so far… one was where a dude was stuck in a wall shouting stuff at me and the second was when Jack froze against the cover and left all the fighting to me and Garus lol

Hey I just saw a review of this game and it sounds freaking stellar but… i am broker than broke and as such have neither a ps3 or xbox. They released a pc version as well right? And if so how badly will it slow down my computer? :alien:
