GameInformer have let the proverbial cat out of the bag with an announcement that Microsoft will be announcing a new Gears of War at their E3 press conference on Monday.
No I’m not mistaken, we are going to hear about the 4th title in the 3 part series on Monday and while we knew it was coming at some point I can’t help but be over excited about it.
I’m a self confessed Gears of War fanboy and while the multiplayer of Gears of War 3 just never grabbed me as I’d hoped it would I can’t wait to get back into the world of COGS and chainsaw some more locust ass.
To help us pass the time between now and Monday GameInformer have posted up their new cover art which we now need to dissect to see exactly what this game is going to be about.
As you can see we have locusts in the background which confirms that this will in fact be a prequel and we have someone in chains being led away. Is it as obvious as Marcus being thrown into prison or is this someone else chained up?
