First L.A. Noire review hits the Interwebs – It’s a winner

I am guessing that The Guardian didn’t quite read the NDA properly and has now broken embargo with their review of L.A. Noire or they have pulled off a major coup by being able to post a review earlier than the big gaming sites or magazines.

Either way we get a sneak peak at whether or not L.A. Noire is going to be as good as expected or did Team Bondi drop the ball at the very last minute?

It’s a silly question really since Rockstar are publishing the title and are famed for pretty much never delivering a sub par product, the review is glowing and they have given L.A. Noire a clean 5 out of 5.

Steve Boxer, from the Guardian, compares the game very much to a cinematic experience and states that it feels very much like the film LA Confidential.

He goes onto pretty much say that the game doesn’t ever really put a step wrong and is a must have.

I don’t put the most faith in mainstream media reviews as they are far more forgiving than gamers in general but you can read the review for yourself here.

L.A. Noire is getting its local release next Friday and we will obviously have our review up as soon as it’s humanly possible.
