Gamescom 2011 is now in full swing and one of the most anticipated titles, for me at least, is FIFA 12 which was given it’s first trailer reveal at the EA conference last night.
I often get told that each FIFA is exactly the same and it’s not a new title but rather a squad update with some minor tweaks here and there.
Nothing could be further from the truth with the depth of the FIFA system making even Street Fighter 4 look shallow it means that these little tweaks are massive game changers and each new version brings us closer to that goal of running onto Anfield ourselves.
However that said I have to admit that this trailer really does disappointment me, we’ve heard about the collision engine already and after that nothing else was really mentioned. We didn’t get to see any real action in the trailer and for a franchise that continuously tops sales across Europe I would have expected a little more pizzazz.
