No matter your gaming platform of choice, you’re sure to have access to some pretty incredible games. PC Gamers get cool stuff like DayZ, ARMA, Stalker and RTS games, while each console has its share of 1st party exclusives. The PlayStation’s got a wealth of exclusives, like God of War, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted and The Last of Us; The Xbox has Gears of War, Forza and Halo – while Nintendo platforms arguably have the richest library of Nostalgia-driven franchises like Mario, Zelda, Metroid and more.

In an ideal world, what games would you like to see on your preferred platform? What games do you watch from the sidelines, wishing they’d become available to you?

      And the children are fully realised characters. They ACT like children, but not in that Japanese ‘Ah, groan, moan, oh woe is my life’ manner. I LOVED Odyssey, and would recommend it to anyone. Why no number 2!?

        No 2 almost went ahead, but after the huge translation issues with 1 not to mention the Unreal Engine being upgraded 3 times during the 4 year dev cycle, its just to much work. Also LO1 did not sell, then Microsoft realised that all the American Kids want IS SHOOT SHIT UP games.

I would have loved to play some RTS games on the PS3, but that’s never going to happen. I also need a space sim fix that isn’t really available for PS3. Other than that I just want other people to come to know G(od)OW, Uncharted and Killzone.

I think the one that mattered did, Mass Effect. As for others, I’ve always wanted to play Blue Dragon. I once owned a copy, but it was stolen alongside a couple other of my games by a damn burglar. Somewhere out there, some asshole has some of my xbox games. Other than that… I can’t think of any xbox exclusive that I would love to see on PS3.

Now on the other hand, if Killzone, Resistance, Infamous etc. all jumped ship to xbox from PS3… man oh man, would xbox gamers be in for a treat.

All console exclusives to PC. But, really, after playing them all… There’s no single exclusive that would make me buy a new-gen console… Everything would change if GTA V was announced for next-gen, but as of now, I’m happy with my PC.

And can we stop talking about The Last of Us as if it is a succesful (or even a) franchise? It’s not even out, yet!

        And as much as I see you’re enjoying letting the world know that you have friends and that those friends have speech, I really hope that you still have your own opinion about stuff. You can have 1000 friends telling you a game is amazing or the best thing ever, but then you might play it, and you might *gasp* have a different opinion!
        
        Really, try it out. Even if you end up having the same opinion, at least have the decency of trying out something before bashing it or defending it.
        
        I never ever played MSG 4, and I know a lot of people love it, and I know a lot of people hate the 30+ minutes long cutscenes. Do I like it or will I ever get into a discussion about it? No. Why? Because I didn’t play it.
        
        Hype is a tricky thing. I will confess you that I originally bought a PS3 because of The Last of Us… Then I played U3 and watched more videos about the game that didn’t help. And that hype wore off. Am I still going to buy it? Maybe, but now I’ll wait. It all comes down to patience.

  Just because a video looks great doesnt mean the game is gonna be awesome, now that I am older and wiser I wait for reviews to be out before I blindly buy a game. Often I wait till its on special also.

These comments are to nice for a FFD. I claim on the console front I say PS has the best exclusives, better than Xbox or Nintendo. We have God of War, Uncharted, Journey, Killzone, Infamous, Motorstorm, Resistance fall of Man, The Last of Us and Little Big Planet so I say Xbox and Nintendo can keep theirs.

Uncharted would be top of my list and then followed by Mario but the third-party games have really caught up on exclusives examples being DmC, Tomb Raider and Crysis 3.

  There is no fighting game that offers more variety than Mugen, it’s playable via PC, and it’s pretty easy to just go and grab new characters, not to mention making your own.

Gran Turismo on Xbox – decent enough game, just I find the PS3 controller quite shitty. And not sure if it ever made it to PS3 or Xbox, but I enjoyed Syphon Filter on the PS 2, wouldn’t mind a version for Xbox.
