Capcom have just been full of win at Comic-Con this year, first announcing a partnership with Namco to create a crossover of Street Fighter and Tekken, and now they are doing their service to the old school fans as well.

Capcom announced that, while still a long way off, they will be releasing a new version of Street Fighter 3: Third Strike for consoles that will finally include online play. To get their community involved, Capcom have also said that they will be taking their time to do it right.

They also say that fans must send in suggestions in the meanwhile as they are planning on adding more features to the games as well. There is no indication of whether or not the game will be getting an HD upgrade like Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, but from what we have heard from them before, it sounds unlikely.

Along with that announcement, Capcom also announced that more characters for Super Street Fighter IV will be released alongside the arcade release as well as a new set of costume packs for SSFIV as well.

They teased new characters by showing new empty character slots in the SSFIV character select screen, but said that they would only be revealing more at the Tokyo Game Show later this year.
