Modded Warfare may be a thing of the past, but that doesn’t mean cheaters have thrown in the towel. The online multiplayer component of the modern-day shooter is still being completely ruined by asshats who have found new ways to demonstrate their indubitable douchebaggery. The hacks – seen on both consoles – seem to be prevalent on the PS3 and enable such advantages as flying, unlimited ammo, imperviousness, no clipping mode and being a complete jerk.

Thankfully Infinity Ward have been made aware of the problem, and are working on a permanent fix. According to Infinity Wards’s director of communications and community manager Robert Bowling, "A patch is in the works for PS3 and Xbox 360 to address the recent COD4 exploits. I’ll keep you posted on the progress."

I have no problem with people cheating in single player games – If you want to ruin your experience, that’s entirely your prerogative – but ruining other people’s good times by cheating in multiplayer is an act of supreme dickery, and warrants a swift kick to the groin.
