ghostleak

Call of Duty: Ghosts is soon be getting some map DLC, because it’s Call of Duty and of course it is. It seems that some sort of server flub may have revealed what those maps might be.

According to player Denkison (via MP1st), Infinity Ward unintentionally leaked the names of some of is test maps in a PC playlist that was never meant to be publically visible. The names of the new maps seen, which currently don’t feature in Ghosts, are: Dome, LUA_MENU_GAZA, Red River, Boneyard, Swamp, and Rumble

Interestingly, some of those maps themselves are recycled; Dome is a favourite from Modern Warfare 3, while Boneyard features in Modern Warfare 2. Dome itself seems to have been recycled itself in the “new” Strikezone map in Ghosts.

What do you think? You keen to go back to Dome and Boneyard?

They recycle everything else, including cutscenes. Why not maps?

Why does everyone complain about recycled assets? They’re trying to green gaming & save the virtual world from digital pollution (excluding the game itself of course).

If a woman used recycled ‘assets’, would you be singing the same tune?

LOL! It takes a good man to admit his singing should not be heard by mortal ears.

It’s like they’ve confused “new incarnation” with “reincarnation”
