The rumours about a console version of Diablo 3 have been swirling around for quite some time now but until now Blizzard has refused to comment on the possibility and have maintained that Diablo 3 is in development for the PC.

Which is entirely accurate except that Blizzard have now let the cat our of the bag by placing a job advertisement for a Senior Producer, Console Diablo III.

It’s now pretty obvious that they are bringing Diablo III to the consoles and all that’s left to find out now is whether or not the console in question is the Xbox 360 or PS3… or both.

Much to some fellow colleagues disgust I have never really enjoyed the Diablo series that much, I mean Diablo 2 was great and I enjoyed my first play through but I couldn’t imagine playing through it again, something which I have seen people do countless times.
