Personally I’m sick to death of the Mass Effect 3 ending debacle, they ended the game the way they felt it should be ended and anyone changing their review score or opinions after seeing a small section of the Internet get upset needs to reassess their personality.
But that’s not the point of this, you’ll remember earlier this week that we posted up about how a bunch of disgruntled fans had decided to send cupcakes to BioWare to protest the ending (I can’t make this up) well all’s well that ends well.
BioWare’s Chris Priestley confirmed on the forums today that all 400 cupcakes did in fact arrive but as they weren’t sent to congratulate the team he didn’t feel it was fair if they ate them.
So they packed them all up, took them down to a local youth shelter and donated them to the kids who surprisingly enough ate them all without giving a continental about the ending of Mass Effect 3.
I’d like to think this sorry tale is now over but I’m well aware how long the Internet can hold a grudge for and this anger isn’t going anyway anytime soon.
