Battlefield fans rejoice! The multiplayer demo for Bad Company 2 is officially available to download right now for the Xbox 360 on Xbox Live.

Some local tweets informed me that the demo is apparently only up on the US marketplace but I have found a direct link to the Xbox.com Marketplace and it seems to be scheduling up just fine.

We will have to see if it will block the actual Xbox for any reason and we will try to update as soon as we can.

Here is the LINK to the marketplace. The demo is 1GB and features the Port Valdez map.

Digging a bit now… looks like PSN may not get one because it had the beta, but that’s not for sure just yet. Will let you know if I find anything

i reckon you right about it being for live only as they were the only platform to not get the beta.

I split my local and international traffic on my router. It seems that Live Marketplace is hosted locally as I download all the Marketplace stuff through my local account. @ R12 a GB I happily download demos.

I think that this will only work for someone like you that splits with that program (cant remember its name) because on nothing but local you cant actually connect to live in the first place, interesting though

I don’t use Route Sentry. I do it on the router.

Here is a rudimentary guide: http://www.xbox-360.co.za/forum/xbox-live-specific-topics/67192-splitting-local-international-traffic.html

Route Sentry and Live is not going to work.
