Sale

Every year, the fine folks from South Africa’s most prominent video game retailer BTGames host a clearance sale, giving gamers a chance to pick up a host of games, hardware and peripherals for a steal. This year is no different, and the sale kicks off tomorrow. We’ve got the details – but we’re only allowed to share a teeny-tiny bit of what’s to come.

Yeah that’s right – Our Game of the Year, borderlands 2 for a rather reasonable R399 on Xbox 360 or PS3. Plus, you get to kill colonialists in Assassin’s Creed 3 on consoles for the same price, and one hundred Randelas less for the master race.

Those of you who own Xbox 360’s and want to jump around your own living rooms like epileptic rabbits can also pick up a standalone Kinect unit for just R999.

There are two pages of similar specials, which we’ll post for you in the morning. the sale runs from tomorrow, until February 10. Get in while stocks last!

I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
