Smackdown 1

Manchester New Hampshire was home to the Smackdown tapings for this week. Featuring the usual suspects such as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Miz, here’s what went down in the ring.

Opening segment

Roman Reigns, the Miz and Maryse are all in the ring and mouths are running wild. Eventually, the Miz gets tossed out of the ring by Reigns after the Awesome One tries to land a sneaky attack on the WWE World Heavyweight Champion on the Smackdown opening.

Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Kalisto defeat Sheamus, Rusev and Alberto Del Rio via count-out

It looks like this is the end of the League of Nations, as Rusev and Alberto Del Rio decided to rather walk out on Sheamus than bother finishing a match against the Swiss Superman and his high-flying pals in this Smackdown bout.

Baron Corbin defeats Damien Sandow

A quick squash match, as Baron Corbin adds another victory to his growing record in the WWE.

The Ambrose Asylum with Natalya, Charlotte and Ric Flair

WOO! Dean Ambrose is hosting his show, and he’s got the biggest feud in the Divas division to chat about. Natalya is clearly ready for Payback, as she tells Ambrose that Bret Hart will be in her corner, ready to stop Ric Flair from getting involved. This fires Flair up, who rants on about how he beat Hart in the WWE and WCW. And he tells Natalya to go “kill herself”. Sheesh, that’s a bit harsh.

Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeat the Social Outcasts

With the New Day on commentary and Byron Saxton on the floor, the team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass went to work, picking up the win in a match that had the audience buzzing. While all this was going on, the Vaudevillains also appeared to watch the event from the Smackdown stage.

Apollo Crews defeated Stardust

Picking up from their previous encounter on RAW, Crews made short work of Stardust again.

Roman Reigns defeated The Miz via disqualification

After a bit of action between the two, the match was interrupted by the Bullet Club’s Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. Attacking Roman Reings, the DQ bell was rung as The Usos and AJ Styles rushed the ring and started a massive brawl for it all to end Smackdown for the night.
