Weird Japanese Cat Game Officially the Worst Selling Wii game in History

Madcats

Sukeban Shachou Rena Wii (which I can only assume is Japanese for “Why does this even exist?”) has earned itself the dubious distinction of being crowned the worst selling Wii game. Ever.

A quite frankly insane looking collection of nippo-centric minigames failed to ignite the Japanese sales charts, selling only a hundred copies. It seems not even the Japanese are up for stuff this weird. I quite highly suspect that a localised, western version of the game probably won’t be reaching our shores any time soon.

Strange as it may seem, after watching a video of the game I really want a copy. It seems like a weird Japanese LOLCats games, that’ll likely be good for at least a few drunken laughs.

Hit the Jump for a video of Insane Japanese cat action.

It has cats, so it should have sold better. Like, atleast 200 copies.

    I would buy it 🙂

You know this information is sadly inaccurate, It’s virtually a copy paste from 100 other sites. Learn some japenese, get a clue

Would knowing Japanese explain why I need to dodge the flying cats which appear to fly at me at random?

Perhaps these cats become tentacle demons later in the game, and you have to keep them away from your Gothic Lolita obsessed female work mate?
