I’ve always been absolutely crazy about the God of War games, mostly for the story. So when I saw that there is this video of the first half an hour of the God of War: Ascension single-player campaign I was so conflicted but I clicked it anyway. Want to see? Obviously, there are spoilers.
Sony Santa Monica presented a 30 minute gameplay demo of the single-player campaign at a Hollywood event, which is awesome since they’ve been focussing mainly on the multiplayer aspect of the game, but also puts gamers in an unfortunate spot. I mean OF COURSE I want to see everything since I’m almost jumping out of my skin out of excitement, but did it have to be such a ridiculously tempting spoiler.
On the one hand, you don’t want to spoil it for yourself, that moment when you first lay eyes on the game and get lost in its epicness, and then on the other hand you just can’t help yourself. I’ve watched just the first five minutes and I’m really struggling to not click play again. At this point I really wish that Sony Santa Monica would release this kind of awesome in much smaller doses, getting us hyped up for the game like normal people.
Now I’d tell you a little bit about it, but I really don’t want to spoil it. Click it, don’t click it. Your choice!
