It’s a Metal Gear Solid kind of day. And by that, I mean the fact that my cat is currently hiding in a box waiting to ambush me. Before the big E3 reveal, Metal Gear Solid V had plenty of smoke and mirrors antics going on. Since then? There’s enough MGS content out there to feed a small nation. If they could eat digital content that is. I have no idea where this analogy is going.

Fresh off the Tokyo Games Show floor comes this set of five Phantom Pain videos. Check ‘em out below and whisper to yourself in a hushed and gravelly voice Metal Geaaaaarrrrr…

Metal Gear Solid V is out sometime in 2014 on PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.

I’m currently busy replaying MGS4 and I LOVE the long cutscenes. I get why some people don’t like it, but it fleshes out the story so much and makes you feel like you are watching a movie, like built in gaming breaks 🙂

I hope Hideo keeps some of the crazy, MGS just wouldn’t be the same without it.

Nah, was kidding. I like the cut-scenes too. Tough on the 5th playthrough not so much. Rather irked they are now using Sutherland as his voice though.
