What’s a hero without a few good villains to define/menace/annoy him? The upcoming Spider-Man movie sequel has been teasing all of the villains ever created, even though there are only three real threats in that movie. And a few more in the tie-in game as well.
Here’s the latest trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, as well as a completely unofficial synopsis on each bad guy:
The Kingpin
The boss of bosses, runs all organised crime throughout New York City and beyond while maintaining the guise of a philanthropic businessman. Despite his size, is immensely strong and deceptively quick in a fight.
Black Cat
Agile cat-burglar with bad luck powers that can affect the probability of those around her. Is also one hell of a flirt.
Electro
Master of electricity, looks like a Smurf on rave-party steroids in the latest film.
Green Goblin
Imagine the Joker with the wealth and genius of Batman, throw in a few themed gadgets and you have your Goblin.
Kraven the Hunter
Master tracker and hunter, enhanced senses and peak physical conditioning. Once went completely nuts after he defeated Spider-Man. I mean like Los Angeles wandering hobo crazy.
Maybe I was wrong about the Spider-Man games aping the Batman Arkham games. After all, this plot for the game about the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man having pissed off a major gang boss who lets loose several assassins on his wall-crawling ass sounds completely original to me.
The game is out in time for the film this month, and will be on pretty much every platform with a controller. Thwip thwip.

Hell yeah! I would LOVE a movie to have Carnage in it! But they messed up Venom so much in that train wreck of a movie (Spidey3), that I may not wanna see their Carnage version… 🙁
