If there is one pastime that brings people together, it most definitely is fighting. Bashing an opponent senseless is something that’s been with us since the dawn of time, from the ancient gladiatorial battles of Rome, through to the old-timey boxing matches of a more Victorian age, culminating in various sports where such techniques are put to use today.

But it’s a somewhat bloody spectacle that has transcended into different mediums, from its roots in open-air colosseums, through to stadiums and television, and into gaming itself. We recently had a look at the top five such games to grace consoles and PCs in our current generation.

Leeeeeeeeet’s get ready to RUUUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMBBBBBBBBBBBBBLLLLLEEE!
