Lazygamer TV Readers Choice Edition – Ten more DLC games to play Popular

geometry-wars-galaxies-3

So, last week, we had a look at some fantastic DLC games to play on assorted systems, and it seems that just ten such noteworthy gems was not enough for you lot. Sure, you all agreed that the games that were showcased were great, but you wanted MOAR.

So, after receiving several death threats and waking up to find that my bike had been spray-painted with “Minecraft Rulez” on it, we decided to put together another list of DLC games that everyone has to own.

So here you go guys, it’s a video made with your input. Also, stop leaving decapitated horse heads in my bed already.

It’s not just about the game graphics (and you can download high-res texture packs), it’s the whole experience. From start to finish Minecraft has been a completely ground-breaking game. One of the best part has always been Mojang’s attitude, especially Notch. Case and point, he once said if you want to try Minecraft but you don’t want to pay, just pirate it. If you like it, buy it when you can afford it.

Glad to see Outland in the list. That game was all kinds of platforming fun!

I still think Splosion Man needed to be in there. Really fun gameplay and the couch co-op was fantastic!

    • http://www.lazygamer.net Gavin Mannion

Yeah I wasted many hours of my life in Splosion Man co-op and finally finished it in time for Ms Splosion man but for some reason that one just didn’t grab me

For the record, I don’t own any spray-paint and was nowhere in the vicinity of your bike at the time of the alleged incident, whenever that was. I wouldn’t know, I totally wasn’t there…
     P.S. Minecraft rules

Ashamed to admit, I have Dead nation AND Scott Pilgrim on my PS3 and I haven’t finished them :x I’ll rectify that this weekend methinks…

Another great video Darryn.  I can’t believe I almost forgot about Shadow Complex!

  • Nicholas Rowan

Ooooo… Some good looking games there.

Geometry wars was my best purchase ever. I’ve spent HOURS playing that and and I’ve got some mean high scores on Xbox :D

Must put Outland and Scott Pilgrim on my list and I STILL haven’t gotten around to playing Braid yet. Shank was a lot of fun, I should have gotten it for console instead of PC though, PC controls feel a little fiddly for platform sidescrollers. Also need to finish shadow complex, the bit I’ve played has been fun.

  • Dooza

Just new Trials couldn’t be left out
