I’m loving all the cool new toys we’re getting now that we are expanding our focus into tech and gadgets. I had an awesome meeting with the good people of Sony, during which I swear we agreed I would review their new phone. However, during the unboxing I got a bit of a surprise.
Here is my wine-fueled unboxing video. Sorry the audio is a bit muffled – probably a hidden cat making his presence known.
As you can see, instead of getting a Z2 phone, I got the new Z2 tablet. I’m still pretty keen to see how it works and what I can do with it, plus that smart band looks rather fun. I like the idea of logging my whole life. I’ll still try to get my hands on the phone so that I can let you all know what I think… plus I think it’s really sexy tech and I want to get my hands on it.
I’m still waiting for more requests from you guys. Any specific brands that you’re considering? We’re carrying on reaching out to all sorts of brands, but if you guys are looking at buying certain items, we’d be happy to play with them first and tell you if it’s worth your money.

I would love for you guys to test that samsung curved UHD TV, is it a gimmick does it increase viewing angles and a Canon 6D camera. And possibly some software that can siphon money from bad governments bank accounts

Is the band size adjustable, wearing big black bangle will drive me nuts nevermind the hit on the ever dwindling man-points

My house is expanding, well not the inside or the outside, but you should see the amount of devices I am trying to connect to my overloaded little Netgear from some years back with a little Omni aerial. So off I went to dig up some new WIFI APs and router combos with extenders. Problem is I have wifi printers, smartphones,( Androids, iphones and MS) Tablets (3 different types, with a apple in there somewhere) Laptops (all MS), cameras (nikon and Samsung) TVs (Samsung and Sony and Hisense), my Fridge (yes… Samsung) all needing Wifi access.
I would really like someone to review all those wonderful home APs/ router bundles to come up with a good solution or compare the various alternatives. The advertisement always says they can do just about everything, but inevitably they don’t and you struggle your backside off getting the TV to see the drive on the PC to watch those old… ehh… pictures.. you know.

No offense, but was this an unboxing I just watched? Are those headphones noise-cancelling or not? Seems like the SA shipment didn’t get the noise-cancelling buds.
