Geez, saving the world can be difficult. I mean, I’m assuming that’s what we’re doing in Call of Duty, saving the world… right? But it’s hard work, even with an exoskeleton. Don’t worry, this live-action trailer shows off how you can still be cool, even when causing a ton of collateral damage.
Here is the latest trailer showing off the verticality and combat options in COD: Advanced Warfare:
If you want to see what all the fuss is about without visiting YouTube, you can go over here.
The trailer looks epic and exciting, except I’m a bit confused. It seems that it’s all about destroying your enemy, even if you destroy the world in the process. And what exactly was the point of the goat/hot chick hallucination? Are there beautiful women in the game, or is it all a lie?
I’m obviously not the target audience for this trailer. That’s okay, I don’t mind, but it’s just kinda clear to me that my confusion is probably only based on that. Right? The rest of you are excited by the adrenaline rush of combat and using cool new toys before falling out of a building, blowing up a truck and imagining you see a gorgeous lady?
The game is all about the pew pew, but thanks to some interesting new elements, it might actually be offering some unique gameplay. Do you think it will be a bigger success than Ghosts? Is your pre-order in, or will you be waiting for the first reviews to come in?

So you play as a frat boy soldier. Seems like they are just embracing the stereotype that all COD players are frat boys.

I beg to differ. This is incredible marketing targeting that gaming itch. Using these actors are a masterstroke and they make the franchise very current and trendy. The use of the goat humour is funny. It immediately pokes fun at the gamer and the notion of objectifying woman. Its so over the top, You have to laugh. Small wonder this franchise is so popular .

I can’t tell if you are being sarcastic or not?
I have no issue with the trailer but I definitely do not see it as a great trailer or something amazing in any way.

I thought the trailer was awesome and funny. Maybe that means I’m a delusional douchbag.

Look at it in the same context as a Nandos commercial. Its cheeky.

Trailer-quality aside, this iteration does indeed look like a rather large step-up from Ghosts, wouldn’t you agree?

I’ve been trying really hard to avoid the hype and not be a delusional douchebag. This video is NOT helping.
At the very least I’m hoping AW will relieve the pew poo poo butt-hurt that was Ghosts.

New CoD is out? Did not even notice above the loud marketing campaign that is Destiny. Screw them both and wait for Dragon Age.
