GearsofWarJudgement

And as promised earlier via cryptic tweets we have the latest Gears of War: Judgement video that has just been released by Microsoft.

I haven’t even seen it yet so behold it’s (hopefully) awesomeness and we’ll be posting a full breakdown of what we’re seeing here in the morning…

Now that’s a cool trailer, but here’s a problem I have, compare Judgement to Gears of War 2 and 3, and nothing much have changed. It’s essentially the same game with a few new skins and features.

And the grenades? What the heck are they thinking? Zero wind-up? I hope they keep the limit of grenades to two or three, otherwise every match will be a lame brain frag fest.

Oh, so those boxes are how they’re going to cash in. Well, it’s nothing new, it was already in 3’s multiplayer. I never had a problem with aesthetic DLCs. If people have the money, let them spend it. Not like Uncharted 3’s multiplayer where the cosmetic stuff influence the stats, and you can only buy it through the store: that’s the kind of bullshit I don’t like.

I don’t know if I’m sold yet, but if I end up getting it it will be because of the co-op campaign and Overrun… Not too thrilled about the other modes, even though maps are looking fun. And that grenade tossing… I mastered 3’s blind throwing of ‘nades (not much of an acomplishement, though), so I’ll have to try. I’m a little worried about the scan and healing grenades, but I’m guessing they’ll be map based.

Don’t know. I love Gears… But this, I don’t know what to think. Always saw it as Gears 3.5, nothing more, nothing less.

It feels like it could have been an expansion pack to Gears 3.

Yeah, exactly. While the lack of modes bothers me, it’s also true that most modes aren’t even played on Gears 3.
