A peek inside the development of Godus

godus3

We all know Peter Molyneux is a bit of a nutty professor and often aims higher that he can realistically deliver but that’s why we love the guy. I wouldn’t want an industry populated with people who only develop in their comfort boundaries and while Peter may not achieve everything he sets out to he does at least motivate others to keep up.

So this video he uploaded to the Godus kickstarter page really intrigued me. On the one hand it’s very interesting to see the different parts of a game coming to.gether and how they all work (notice how dark it is outside) and on the other hand it’s so sad that my day job of being a software developer is so similar… and yet no where near as exciting.

I have scrum boards and daily tasks and pieces of paper as well.. but mines about storing and showing data.. that’s it..

If you are a developer or interested in the gaming industry then take a look at this video and then go help Peter make Godus by pledging here
