So what are you playing games on when you’re away from your domicile? A Nintendo 3DS? A PS Vita that had you jumping through hoops so that you could smuggle it in from Japan? Or how about a tablet device?
Now, while each device has its merits, they’ve also got their own drawbacks as well. But just imagine what it ... [»]
David Jaffe is well known for his public utterings and his awesome ability to shove both his feet into his mouth at the same time but this time he has a point I am happy to agree with.
Basically the story goes that some people are apparently refusing to buy Twisted Metal ... [»]
According to some new, obviously very valid and wholly scientific research, many gamers are lunatics, unable to tell the difference between video games and the real world. It’s all down to something they call Game Transfer Phenomena, which sees regular gamers trying to do videogamey things in real life after they’ve stopped playing. In more extreme cases, people have reported things like seeing conversation menus during a real life ... [»]
I’ve never gotten into Horse Racing, I don’t see the excitement factor at all so when I saw a link to a Horse Racing Simulator I initially ignored it. But then my curiosity got the better of me and I took a look. Man the Japanese are a ... [»]
I’ve never been to taken with the weird Japanese pop culture and you would never have found me watching some Japanese anime in Japanese to experience the true nature or whatever the reason is that people use.But for some reason I am completely taken in with these trailers for the upcoming ... [»]
I don’t even really know what this is but I found it browsing around aimlessly and thought it was pretty awesome. Jace Hall apparently has a show and this is one of the episodes where he sings a battle rap about dissing n00bs and gaming in general. The video’s fine ... [»]
I’m not sure if we can really call this a game or not, actually the closest thing I can think to call it would be a breathing simulator.Yes this strange collection of bytes helps you to breathe correctly. To do this you stick the Innergy finger adaptor thing on your finger ... [»]
Okay so along with the other big sites out there we are also realising that there is just no news at the moment, which makes it really hard to populate an entire days schedule and leads to bizarre stories like this making the cut.But this one is actually something I think a lot of you ... [»]
Oh good Lord. A man has married a videogame character. Yeah…umm. Ok. Sure, we’ve started seeing a growing trend of Japanese men engaging in real relationships with faux suitors – but this really takes the (wedding) cake.A presumably Japanese man has taken the digital hand of Nene Anegasaki, one of three characters in DS dating sim Love Plus - that encourages real-word interactions with digital girls, such as ... If you are one of the only people on the planet who isn’t sure what being RickRolled is then click here and then here to explain what it’s all about. However I’m guessing that while you may have been RickRolled before you more than likely haven’t been RickRolled in World of Warcraft. It also shows us ... [»]
Man, I love Japan. For all it’s beautiful old-world culture, it finds dichotomy as a hotbed for the lunatic fringe. Today we bring you news of a 37 year old man who has fallen in love – and believes he maintains a meaningful relationship - with a videogame character; who happens to be a 10-year old girl. The man – who refuses to be called by his real name, opting instead for “Nisan,†meaning “big brother†– carries with him a stuffed pillowcase depicting his underage, fictional Objet d'affection. His girlfriend is the 10-yea-old Nemutan, a character in a 2D dating sim called Da Capo. While he apparently knows she isn’t real, that doesn’t mean the relationship isn’t; "Of course she’s my girlfriend," he says of his paramour. "I have real feelings for her." He takes ... [»]
I personally have a fascination with the lack of sex in the gaming industry. No not the lack of physical activity for the journalists but rather the lack of sex in games. Killing, maiming, mutilating and destroying people are perfectly acceptable, just make sure you don’t portray the natural act of sex onscreen. So now instead of having professionally crafted titles integrating sex in a mature and supporting manner we get this instead. Welcome to the world ... [»]
Okay this is easily the most bizarre gaming accessory that I have ever seen. The PediSedate is a unique looking piece of headgear that pumps nitrous oxide into the wearer while they play games. It has honestly been designed to calm and distract a child before undergoing dentistry or surgery. Now while I am all ... [»]
Noby Noby Boy is most probably the oddest title to land on any console for as long as I can remember. However it’s about to get weirder… Multiplayer is coming and it doesn’t appear to make any sense at all. The gameplay looks non existent and the graphics are just plain awful… seriously what do people see in this.
Yes it's pretty but I don't get it. This game could either be one of the most relaxing things ever to grace the silver screen or it's going to be absolutely pointless... I am intrigued but not entirely sure why?It just doesn't seem to have the depth of gameplay or even any sort of story that would get anyone coming back, maybe I am missing the point entirely but I just don't get it.
