Can you believe it? It's now less than a month until The Sims 4 makes its way to PCs around the world. EA has revealed some benefits that previous lovers of the series can enjoy, as well as a brand new musical track to get you ready to build your dream home.
For their final expansion to Sims 3, your Sims family is transported to the future. Much like The Jetsons, this futuristic world is filled with bots, awesome technology, and the same human emotions we are familiar with. Without any need to race off at 88 mph, your Sims can time travel and even cause paradoxes.
Pop star Katy Perry has once again teamed up with The Sims to bring you Sweet Treats, a new ‘pack’ for The Sims 3. That’s right – it’s not a ‘stuff pack’ or an ‘expansion pack’, but a ‘pack’.
In the world of The Sims, a ‘stuff pack’ is really what the name says: like an expansion pack, but it only includes new items (i.e. stuff). There is no new gameplay, unless it’s directly related to a new item. So, naturally, this is a bit of a money-making scheme for EA, as you can buy a Sims 3 expansion pack, complete with new items AND new gameplay, for around R250, while a stuff pack will set you back about R200, and all you will have is…more stuff.
